David’s Story

Meet David, who has just returned to work in Launceston after being at home due to COVID-19 restrictions for 2 months. David’s first words when he arrived at work were, “Gee it’s good to be back.”

David has achieved Certificate 1 in Warehousing Operations and was presented with his certificate at a celebratory morning tea.

David had a few words to say about his achievement.

“Hi I’m David. I live at Eskleigh (Perth Tas) and have been working at Blueline Laundry for the past 2.5 years.
I have recently completed Certificate 1 in Warehousing Operations through my work at Blueline. I would like to thank Blueline Laundry and St Michael’s for the opportunity to do this certificate.
The things I like about working are:

Friendships I have made
Getting out into the community
I have missed going to work during COVID-19 restrictions and looking forward to them all being lifted.”
